Useless lens cap strap.
Filters are as awaited – normal. I purchased this set with new camera, and otherwise I would never considered purchase of cleaning kit separately.

Review of Nikon HB-38 Lens Hood Replacement – Nikon 4129

Ya can use your hand to block the sun, but then ya only have one to shoot with. Also, I dont use UV protectors, so lens protection is a valuable purpose of a hood. My only complaint is that everything for this hobby is so expensive. My other complaint is that it can be inconvenient to carry and take on and off. Perhaps a semi rigid hood that flips out for use and flips back for carry so ya never have to take it off and risk having it roll down the street or lost – I dunno.

Loved the filter holder, and everything is great, but probably a little over priced. I really didn’t need the lens cleaning items, but now I have extras. The polarizer works great though and I have had very little problem with vignetting, which was the reason for the purchase. So, all in all, I am happy!

The lens is amazing for its price (it deserves 5 stars).Although it has a plastic mount, it performs good and makes sharp images.The filters in the kit are of very bad quality (1 star is more than enough for the filters).I was so happy with the lens but so disappointed by the filters.The remaining articles in the kit are not bad (4 stars for the remaining kit excluding the filters).
